I thought I would add my opinion, for what little it's worth:

If you go to the first page of this thread, and read post number 2, it's clear Thomas has dreamed of playing for OSU.

http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/forum/...13-oh-ath-dymonte-thomas-michigan-verbal.html

If you go to his Scout profile and look at his schools of interest, he lists both Florida and OSU but didn't receive an offer from either.

http://ohiostate.scout.com/a.z?s=145&p=8&c=1&nid=4994813

My opinion is with the love he's always wanted, he'll end up signing with OSU in the end.

I wouldn't bet on it...still a year and two months till signing day but i would bet on it.

And some -- quite a few actually -- commit early and however many months later sign their LOI.
Well, yeah...

...I think all anybody here is saying is that this may not be as "over" as some of the um faithful are trying to convince eachother it is. Given how close he is to his cousin and how good a salesman Meyer is, I'd say it's possible. Not saying he'll flip, but given Kalis' "in the moment" thoughts before he did, you never really know. Reading kids "in the moment" thoughts on twitter and passing them off as definitive proof is foolish...and has been proven as such time and again.

From Jeff Rapp's Twitter (for your sanity, I'll remove hashtags and put the tweets in chronological order):

Recruitniks (you know who you are), stud 2013 RB Dymonte Thomas of Alliance, Ohio, is growing increasingly impressed with Ohio State.... Thomas is committed to Michigan and even laughed off OSU trying to get in on him in a tweet, but a very well-connected source says... he was very impressed with Meyer in a recent face-to-face (I presume at his school) and the Buckeyes could get back in the picture.... I'm not predicting Thomas will decommit from Michigan or that he's completely flipped over, but Ohio State is becoming very tempting.

Me gusta, me gusta mucho indeed

It's odd to me that the info coming from GBW is entirely the opposite of what I've seen here. Late last week they had a thread going about how Thomas had just requested he wears the #1 jersey at UM. Today a thread, Thomas is helping recruit a WR named Treadwell to UM.

BN $ - Is Thomas Doubting Michigan Verbal?

12/20

By Gary Housteau...talks about how he went through the process of committing to Michigan....grew up an OSU fan but is now sold on Michigan and is prepared to play against his cousin.

I know Gary thinks there is no chance of Dymonte reconsidering, but we all know that is simply not the way Urban and his staff will work...if they want him, they will recruit him hard. My feeling is the same way OSU had to continue to recruit Dunn when he was committed to OSU, so will Michigan have to continue to recruit Dymonte.

It is nice to hear Dymonte come across as respectful of both schools and both staffs...rather than the Twitter nonsense.

He's been Michigan's top recruiter
I seem to remember Kalis announcing that role publicly days before switching to Michigan.

I'm skeptical here but kids say the darndest things, and the situation has changed dramatically.

When Thomas verballed:

- OSU was snubbing him
- his beloved cousin was basically Michigan boun
- The top Ohioans ('12 class) were fleeing from OSU
- OSU was facing looming sanctions with an interim coach and assistants who were probably in their final months at OSU
