Nice to see that there will be a one-on-one interview Monday at 3:30 on a special "Big Ten Football Report" on BTN.

On the other hand, it says that Gene Smith will be speaking at the 4 p.m. press conference (also on BTN). Although this was expected, it's still scary considering Smith's past comments (and his overall handling of this situation).

Whether or not he gets the full time gig here, Fick is going to be a fantastic head coach. He has the charisma a lot of coaches lack, is a worker, and a good mind. A big, big part of me hopes he's "the guy" come December.
