Ducks vs Red Wings 2nd Round

You know, as the only Ducks fan here, well my wife is a Ducks fan too, I have to say that Ducks/Red Wings is good hockey. It's been interesting to watch the progression of the Ducks, Disneys creation to come shortly after the sharks, the worst team in Hockey, a change of ownership, a couple great coaches (both coaching tonight) and suddenly the team becomes a true hockey team, and it's odd that they have become what they are, good.

That's just ridiculous.

And you know what, they are playing like crap tonight. That doesn't mean I quit, or I'm giving up, it means they look slow and stagnant, and yes, like they've either given up or never bothered to show up. If they catch a break or decide to play tonight, then fantastic. If they lose, I'll still be watching Thursday. And if they lose again, I'll be back next season.

I should. I think they're just ruining this tonight because I really don't want to be watching hockey on Thursday.

I'll be here Thursday night. I just have stuff to do tomorrow but I had to come down and check the game in time to see LogoHunter take a stupid penalty :smash:

it was like this last year, too. 1 goal down...."Oh god they don't even want to be here. I'm not going to watch". 2 goals down....."This team has completely given up. I'm done watching them for the rest of the year".

You know seeing the Wings in the playoffs for the past 16 years or so, you notice patterns through the years of when they are going to play well and when they won't.

Tonight their passing hasn't been crisp, they aren't outworking the Ducks for anything and they seem bored. They did this on and off all year long in the regular season too. You'll also notice a pattern in this thread if you had bothered to read my posted from about Friday on last week.

BTW when have I said I'm done watching them for the rest of the year? Sounds more like what Rangers fans should've done when Linda Cohn picked them to win the Stanley Cup this year :tibor:

Yeah watch it through to the end unlike mike. Hell I watched the OSU-UF game through the end.

And what is with the offsides.

And so did I, like that really matters. And I watched the LSU and Texas games to the end too. Your point?

Agreed.

While winning the cup a couple years ago really helped the Rep, Anaheim has always seem to be a real pain in the ass in the playoffs.

Me too. I just thought it'd be nice if they could win the one west coast game I could actually watch all of. I should've known better.
