Todd is a really disruptive and aggressive player in the middle of the line. He plays with good balance and leverage and has the body to fill out more. He projects as a defensive tackle in college. He is a highly motivated player.

Offer him already! J/K. I'm pulling for him to earn one this spring though.

Unfortunately because of scholarship limitations this year it's going to take a while before some of these local kids get offers. I would imagine if Denlinger camps at Ohio State and performs like he did last year an offer will be forthcoming. Gotta love his measurables and that 4.0 GPA doesn't look too bad either

I know schollies are tight, but I can't imagine the early offer season will come and go without some local kids getting offers. BTW, when I said spring, I should've said summer, as I believe some of these kids will overwhelm at camp and get some good news.

He has stated numerous times that OSU was his favorite growing up. He stated a couple of months ago that OSU was his favorite now he states that he has no favorite.

Gary Blackney will be comming into Ohio a lot to get kids out of his old recruiting grounds. Maryland will be recruiting Ohio hard as long as he is there.

As a junior he recorded 125 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 1 interception and 1 punt block (at MLB)

That's pretty impressive for a guy weighing 265ish. He must have pretty good speed and mobility to play MLB that big and rack up those stats.

By the way, NOBODY at the US Army combine ran a faster forty at Denlinger's weight. (6-2.5, 263, 5.24 on a very slow track). The only people in the DL and OL groups that ran faster were in the 195-220ish weight range.

Still favors OSU per Insiders update tonight.

You have to think that if it were another year and we had more scholies he would already have an offer. He'll most likely get one this summer and I think he'll be patient enough to wait for it. He'll be a nice addition to the class.

"I'm quick for my size. I'm pretty mobile and aggressive. I'm also a really good leader, but I'd like to improve my speed. I wouldn't mind getting faster. Quickness is the name of the game. I also want to improve my technique."

He shows nice speed and explosiveness in those clips. The question will be, can he show those same qualities lined up on the D-Line where you need to be able to get off blocks and go one-on-one with an offensive lineman.

That's a good point. I'm sure the coaches want that question answered before they extend an offer. A decision will probably be made at camp.
