That's the difference between being a coordinator and being a position coach. AHC seems like a meaningless title to me.Probably about three hundred thousands dollars salary each year.
Assistant head coach/co-defensive coordinator Luke Fickell made around $600,000, co-defensive coordinator/assistant head coach Everett Withers made $580,000, and offensive coordinator Tom Herman made $550,000.
Position coaches like Drayton & Coombs made around $300K per year.

It's almost as good to be an assistant head coach as being the king:
11 LBs gone from the 09-13 classes. Nine of them left after RSing or playing one year. Shocking we've struggled a bit at the position. /sarcasm
