I don't think it's a stark "either-or" decision between taking a job that's been a career killer or staying as a "career Assistant."
Stick with UM for 3-4 years, win a national championship and then see what the opportunities are. With tenure under both JT and UM, I have a feeling that both the opportunities will far exceed Pitt and LF will be in a better position to succeed in the job of his choosing. He'll still be young, and he'll still be Urban's heir apparent. I'm not too sure of the latter should Pitt suck him in and spit him out as they have their last 11 coaches.
If he goes, I'll root for Pitt in every game they play providing their interests do not conflict with those of Ohio State. I just don't think it's the best move.
