didn't commit after his weekend visit to scUM so I still really like our chances. He says the UM offer coming in so late in the recruiting process isn't going to weigh into his decision but you have to believe that OSU being in it from the beginning can only help.

I don't claim to be a recruiting expert or anything, but if you leave your hometown/childhood favorite without committing this late in the process, something doesn't add up.

TSUN insiders are still feeling that they're the team to beat, but given the above scenario, that seems misguided at best.

After reading the premium articles (bucknuts, scout), sounds like a visit out of respect is coming for OSU but the decision has already been made. Just what it sounds like. I was hoping that if we got him in for a visit we had him locked up (especially w/o a scUM offer @ that point), but now w/ his UM offer in hand, his glowing comments about his visit and him talking about how excitng it would be to have his family so close (approx. 20 minutes) and @ all his games, Tress and the gang better blow his doors off next week and it still might not be enough.

Reading TSUN articles? Um, yeah. They're going to be slanted that way. Bucknuts? Well, they're Bucknuts. FWIW, a lot of people "in the know" are still saying tOSU is in a really good position.

If he wasn't glowing about TSUN after his visit, that would be a terrible sign for them.

As it is, we're still in fine shape. Not as good as before, obviously, but we're definitely still in it.
