ScarletVader;Man, I feel sorry for that number 14. X? Was the kid okay?

I sense that somehow you know what occurred seconds after Goebel "hugged" the QB??? Were you told? Were you present?

Anyways what happened was Goebel picked up the QB, lifted him 3'-4' off ground and proceeded to drive him into the turf HEAD FIRST......One minor problem...QB did not have the ball (he already handed off to RB). Unnecessary Roughness Penalty. Needless to say the opponents never ran the option to Goebel's side following this. It was unintentional as Goebel assumed QB had ball.

***QB was "dazed,confused & semi-conscious"

Anybody else notice all the Skull and Crossbones stickers on his helmet? Looks like a lot to me. We got those in high school for laying lumber and splitting domes. I imagine it's the same for his team...

Garrett has the entire right side of his helmet covered with Skull-X-Bones (Def. awards: QB sacks, tkls for loss, fumbles caused / recovered, Knockdown pass) and miniature footballs (Off. Awards: Pancake blocks, hustle award). Recently Goebel shatterred the school record by earning (16) Sixteen stickers for a SINGLE GAME performance.

We were awarded the skull and cross bones sticker in high school football as well. We could get one on Offense, Defense, or Special Teams for what our coaches called "Slobber-knockers", i.e. demolishing an opponent on a block or tackle.

It was the most coveted award we could earn. Good memories.

When did you have the chance to meet Garrett's father. Greg???

(Greg & I have another brother whose nickname btw is "Boss Hogg"!!!
However Garrett, being as respectful as he is, addresses him by "Uncle Gary")
No wonder Grant is so skinny... never gets to the table :)
