Now that Sanchez is off the board, Worthington excites me more than any other player out there. You can't teach size and speed. He is one of those first player off the bus for intimidation players ala his idol Will Smith.

We must think alike because I want us to start going after defensive players. I have become a big fan of defense lately. I want us to land 2-3 LB'ers and 2 more D-linemen. IMO the offensive players are already in the fold. Our offensive recruits have been second to none but i would like to get some verbals from some defensive recruits.

Great defense can make up for lackluster offense. We sure have seen a lot of that lately.

Worthington is in the process of setting up his official visits- definite visits include tOSU, 'Bama and Tenn- probable visit to Maryland and maybe visit to Wisky. He will take some unofficials to places like PSU and others.

No kidding-I don't think we need a paranoid schizophrenic in the lockerroom. Seriously, though, if his dad is broadcasting public love for the buckeyes at this stage in the game, and he has already become friends w/ Denlinger and Boone, I gotta feel good about Worthington donning the scarlet and gray. Besides, he will be a god in Worthington-not a bad place to have the love from. I look forward to seeing Doug and his team play Rob Schoenhoft and St. Xavier in Finneytown this year.

Ya Got a big point! From all accounts, it sounds like he will be a strong defensive player for the bucks!! I hope he becomes a buckeye! Nice size, frame and speed. You just can't teach that.

Worthington says Ohio State is recruiting him the hardest and that he receives hand written letters from the Buckeye staff almost every day. The Bucks are the first school he mentions when asked who is recruiting him and where he would like to visit his senior year. Just a matter of time in my opinion.

No real surprise here, he says we're on top. He likes the fact that "Jimmy" Tressel isn't going anywhere and puts us at the top of his list as far as everything else goes.

Worthington is starting to eliminate schools. Ohio State is still at or near the top of the list. He mentions wanting to play in either the Big Ten, ACC or SEC.

Things are looking decent for Ohio State. It sounds like his dad is helping sway him somewhat. With his athletism and height I can see him batting down passes left and right.
