Luke Fickell was one of the best prep wrestlers in the history of Ohio high school wrestling.

That he didn't wrestle in college remains unbelievable to me.

A co-worker of mine is a huge follower of Ohio wrestling and knows a lot of the history. I am pretty sure he told me that Fickell is one of the best wrestlers Ohio has ever had. He said Luke only lost one match in high school and that was an overtime match to a guy who has wrestled in a few Olympics. Said Luke was not able to wrestle and play FB in college due to the difficulty and dedication each sport requires.

If we can land Larimore and he can turn out to be the FOOTBALL player that Luke Fickell was, i will be more than happy.

Lloyd Carr visited Dexter at his home and his High School yesterday. He told Dexter that scUM "really, really wanted him because they need players like him to make QB sacks on 4th and long to send them to bowl games." Sounds like Lloyd tried to get Dexter to call off his visit to tOSU this weekend too...

My take: BLAH... What a load...

Maybe it is... but the word lock has been used with Dexter, so I'm not sure how much of an effect that it might have had, but I would still say that he is tOSU bound...

Lllloyd is out of options now and we still have an official visit and an in-home yet to come. I'd much rather be in our position.

Well there is no such thing as a lock, but it does look good after Lllyod tries to throw out the red-carpet and things still look good for us.

Impeccable timing from the crew up north. I saw updates on his visit dated 11/13 from other sites. Anyone else get the feeling that they're a little nervous about this one?

They aren't the only ones...Lllloyd is also feeling the heat. I think that explains Dexter's comments about Lllloyd trying to get him to cancel his visit to OSU this weekend.

By Duane Long...Dexter enjoyed his visit and was hosted by Todd Denlinger. JT will visit Dexter again next week. He will likely decide by Christmas.

From BSB...Dexter enjoyed the visit, especially the way the players and coaches interact.

In my opinion, I would be surprised if we did not get Dexter...
