Drew Tate and Troy Smith are reflections of their respective coaches....

I would agree on the Troy Smith being a reflection of Tressel. Listen to how mature and how he answers questions. He is Tresselique.

Tate I am not sure. I have heard good things about the coach so I cannot make a judgement on that

Impossible to judge the comments out of context. He likely isn't just ranting in the locker room, so there was probably a reporter's question that prompted that response. Knowing what the question was can help better comprehend the meaning of the quotes.

You are absolutely correct. There was a precursor to that statement. I had seen in it online earlier, now it seems to be lost.

Tate plays and acts like a sophomore. He makes way too many mistakes for a player of his experience. I don't see that he's improved much, if at all, over the last couple years. If he could get his head on straight, he would be a hell of a player. He's running out of time though.

Classless is too strong. I don't think he intentionally disrespects his opponents. He's just not able to control his emotion, which seems to be his undoing.

i think youve jumped the line, was it last week or the week before when troy kicked a dman lineman when he ws down?

whatever your believe thats fine, but what i saw was a guy who played very well and was forced to take risks knowing he was on an inferior team.

My opinion that Tate conducts himself like a little girl have little to do with this quote. Have you ever seen him fail to throw a fit after making a bad play? Everyone snaps once in a while... thing is that happens about as often as Tate keeps his emotions/anger in check (at the expense of his teammates confidence and psyche).
