Dr. Pepper is retiring Larry Culpepper as its College Football Playoff spokesman
Larry Culpepper, Dr. Pepper’s commercial spokesman for the College Football Playoff, will no longer be a part of the company’s ad campaigns. That’s according to Jim Connor, the actor who played Culpepper.
But apparently it was time for Culpepper (and Connor) to move on to greener pastures. The news of his departure comes not long after Dr. Pepper signed a six-year extension as a sponsor for the College Football Playoff. So while Culpepper is gone, Dr. Pepper isn’t going anywhere.
