I believe the solution is Bo Jackson backwards towards your own endzone to draw the defense up, then run through for a 100-yard TD.

There was no stopping Tecmo Bo.

I re-discovered that today. Even when the computer predicted the play, he got far enough past the defender that they couldn't pick off the pass.

I remember being in awe of how freaking sweet that game was. It's incredible to think of how far gameplay has come in the last 20 years.
