Dominique Brown (Louisville signee)

everything I've ever heard about Brown and UC from my Kerry Coombs connections at Colerain say he's got a great chance to start at safety next year for UC...at least thats what was said when he gave his verbal.

I guess what i'm saying is that given Ohio States QB situation, you have to like the Buckeyes shot if he's looking to get on the field and not at a specific position.

Oh I know... Just saying that the times he has said that playing QB will be a factor may not have been serious comments...

OSU - Receiver
UC - QB or Safety
Lousiville - QB (They are promising he's their #1 guy)
Georgia Tech - QB (fits their system)

I like Lousiville or Cinti. He wants to play QB. Not sure he gets in to Georgia Tech. OSU is looking at him as a WR.

Who is better verlon reed or brown? I say let them compete and the best one stays at qb. The other moved to another position, reed to safety or brown to wr.

Reed clearly is a better QB prospect. I think Brown is the better overall athlete though considering how big, strong, and fast he is. He can play WR or be a jumbo safety. Reed is probably either QB or safety, with maybe some WR potential. Brown has the most "upside" I would say, but that is not taking anything away from Reed at all. Brown is in the rivals 250 for a reason.

I would agree with this! If you watch Verlon Reed on tape its hard to believe he wasn't ranked higher. Alot of great athletes these days and schools will find them.
