For sure. But we just took a safety, although he doesn't seem to be a very good one, in Jason Allen. I think Cam Cameron will go offense, unless a really good defensive player that he can't pass up falls to #9.
I think he will, but it is possible he goes defense. Obviously, Adams will most likely be gone, so who knows. I think it all depends with we are thinking about doing at qb. I really, really, really do not want Quinn.

Honestly, if Colt Brennan and [SIZE=-1]Brian Brohm were in the Draft this year, I would take them before Brady Quinn. But with the only elite quarterbacks being Russel and Quinn, it's a lot crappier QB class.

Which is why I think they should hold off on getting a QB until next year and see how Culpepper performs. I don't know that they really need a WR either. When the Dolphins' passing attack was decent with Frerotte back in '05, Chambers was a complete beast. Marty Booker also emerged as a go-to guy in the second half of the season last that doesn't work out then they should definitely draft Brian Brohm next year.

Probably not. But what position do you think we will go after most likely?? Maybe we could get an offensive tackle like Levi Brown??
I would not mind that. But, it all depends, because no one knows what will happen beforehand. I would like to see us either get Landry, Ginn, or Brown. No quarterback, regardless of who it is.

The one thing about Teddy Ginn Jr is, if we take him, part of his worth is returning. And we have Wes Welker who is a decent returner. So if we take Ginn, would we release Welker??

No, he could return kicks with him, and play receiver. Although, I do like Hagan, and he impressed me this year.

One thing I heard is very true. The last three SuperBowl Champs all had All-Pro Safeties. Rodney Harrison, Troy Polamalu, and Bob Sanders. So that might factor into our decision, but I doubt it. Most Championship teams also need a very good left tackle, and we haven't had one of those in a while.

I think 'Dre Bly would be a good fit at corner for us and he's entering the FA market on Friday. His pricetag wouldnt be nearly as high as Clements so he could be a decent value also. With the resigning of Holliday I dont see Cam going DT or DE. Harringtons cap money will be a plus and that leaves us hoping Culpepper is going to be ok. I can see Miami taking a QB in the 2nd through 5th rounds depending on who's there. The Oline is aweful so maybe a Steinbach would be a good fit via free agency also. Alot of the draft situation is going to be predicated on Cam's offense in Miami. If we try to go the SD route then I can definitely see Oline being a priority. If you look at our offenses Miami and SD are very similar, aside from production. No one has an LT but Brown has great potential if we can get him a good lead blocker and decent Oline. Our receivers are already better than SD's. I can also see Miami taking a kicker in the draft this year also with a lot of good ones coming out. Mare is on his last legs, pun intended. If I could pick anyone coming out it would be either Ginn or Landry first round. Levi Brown hasn't had the best combine and I'm not sure he's as good as advertised anyway. Landry and Ginn would be playing right away so the value is good with them. Overall its a crap shoot with Miami right now though.

More importantly though, those teams had mistake-free QB's running their offenses. Brady and Manning are perennial and Big Ben had an outstanding season last year. If we had anything close to one of those QB's I'd be more than happy to simply upgrade the defense, but alas.......

Looks like Bly is out of the picture now. Bummer.

The 'Phins cut their starting left tackle today, Seth McKinney. Not a whole lot of information about cutting his contract by the Dolphins today. Could mean they are going Oline in the draft or they have something cooking on the trade wire. This Miami offseason is one of the strangest I've ever seen.
