Does MSU have any chance versus Penn State?

I haven't seen this discussed yet. I know that MSU has looked horrible ever since that blocked kick to end the first half in the Shoe. Can they put it back together for their final home game? Maybe some of you who have watched more of their games can find some scenario where they win to give OSU their first undisputed title in (god!) 20 years.
 
Penn State is young, and the game is in East Lansing. I'm thinking that's about the only angle we've got. Drew Stanton has seemed at times to be the kind of quarterback that can light a team up, so I'm just clinging desperately to that hope.

It really is amazing that tOSU has not had an outright title in so long...some of that is scheduling and some of it is just missed opportunities, but either way, its been too long.

I don't see MSU making this a ballgame. The team morale is shot, John L. is possibly gone, and PSU is a team on a mission right now.

I just don't see PSU tripping over this team. PSU is playing for a major payday...MSU is playing to get the season over with.

Without watching all of their games and using what I have seen and heard, if they decide to show up and play this is going to be an interesting game. Considering its the seniors last game in East Lansing.. I think it's gonna come down to the wire. MSU has had bright spots and are capable of an upset

well this michigan state team is very capable of putting up good numbers, but freakin stanton has gotta be on his A game from the minute he steps on to the field..

The only way i see michigan state winning this game...They have to get a couple of early turnovers, and get out to like a 14 point lead by the end of the first half..Then they(well all of us) have just gotta hold on and go for the ride..Saturday is gonna be an interesting day..

And at the beginning of the season, everyone was talking about this game..Everyone was picking Michigan state..Im still going with Michigan State..

There's only one game in that state I really give a shit about. Screw both of these teams. We already played them...we did what we did against them. Fuck what they do now. We beat Michigan...good things will happen. We don't beat Michigan...and it'll be a long winter. All that fucking matters is what happens in The Game. If we don't beat Michigan...then we all of a sudden become huge Penn State fans...so fuck this game, I could care less who wins. I had even forgotten that their were other college football games this week. The whole country should take the weekend off to watch and learn what REAL college football is all about. GO BUCKS! BEAT MICHIGAN!

People seem to have forgotten about the entire beginning of the season. They were a very good team until the FG incident. If they were facing VY and texas, I would say they have no shot.

However, they are facing Michael Robinson. Despite tons of hype otherwise, he still is a shaky passer at times. It is very possible he could throw a couple of picks and change the entire complexion of this game.

This is not a classic upset that PSU will overlook, but it still could happen. MSU has the firepower to stay in this game. Nobody should bet on them, but I wouldn't suggest betting on PSU either.

great post..i agree 100 percent..

the gamebreaker will be stanton/robinson..its gonna come down to stanton having a perfect game, or robinson making some key turnovers..plus its at MSU so that helps..
