i didnt decide yet. from what i can tell the white away jerseys look like an improvement from the old jerseys and the new red home jerseys look a little worse. im kind of disappointed to see the luster of the old jerseys and pants being gone but ive tried on the dri fit jersey and pants before and they are far superior from the old ones for sure. however i cant really say as a whole until i see them in person and on a player. hopefully at the spring game i can decide but so far i see it as roads are improved and the homes are a worse but who knows as of now.

I have played football in both styles of uniforms. The traditional ones the Buckeyes had been wearing...and the new ones they are about to wear. In fact, our uni's were near identical as my school colors were Scarlet & Gray. Our helmets are identical to OSU as were the pants(until we changed uni's).

I must say, the new material the uni's are made of are 10x better than the stuff before. You really can tell the difference in the uniform when you're out there sweating your ass off. Easier to breath, and ALOT lighter in weight. Not to mention the form fitting style is very nice compared to the baggy style.

My only "dislike" I guess you could say would be not having Gray stripes...but all in all YES I like the new jersey's better.

Magua makes excellent points.

I’ll take function over form even though the old uniforms looked awesome. If the new fabric helps to reduce water weight, allowing players to conserve energy and perform better, then I’ll live with the fact the scarlet jersey bleeds through the pants.

<O:pI still don't like the change back to the Bruce-era sleeves, but I'll get over it.

Too many people like the jerseys because they fit tight. Let's move this to the romper room.

I would like to see a game before I decide, but from what I gather this change was as much functional as aesthetic, and if it helps shed tackles I am all for it.

The jerseys seem to have the look of the Earle Bruce era of the 80's, with just the red and white armbands. They are thinner in appearance but the
gray band could have been added still. I also understand the names of the players on the back of the jerseys will be removed with just "Ohio State". Is this true?

Probaby just a rumor, based on the jersey that JT had at the press conference that said "Ohio State" above the number 1.

These pictures from the O-zone had the word 'name', so it doesn't seem that they'll be gone.
