Q: Who is the next-best player after Floyd?
Ferguson: I have to base this on what I've heard, not seen. I've heard about Sam Maresh at Champlin Park and Willie Mobley at Eden Prairie. We think Jordan Waiwaiole from Spring Lake Park is a strong player, and we've got special players here, too. It does a disservice to kids to rank them. What it points to is that Minnesota is producing more and more strong players.
Grant: I'd have to say our guy, Willie Mobley. College coaches are coming here to see two kids - Floyd and Willie. Willie's a legitimate Division I prospect. He has the size (6 feet 2, 265 pounds) and agility colleges are looking for. He's got a lot of top programs to choose from.
Nelson: The first name that comes to mind is the Mobley kid at Eden Prairie.
Scanlan: We've got some guys here that we are think are pretty darn good. Shady Salamon is one of them. It sounds clich?, but he can do it all. He will play defensive back and running back. He has already committed to Minnesota. They will be surprised at how good he is.
Thompson: I'm not 100 percent sure of everyone out there, but I do know you have to contain Willie Mobley.
Willie Mobley, a highly regarded defensive end from Eden Prairie, Minn., attended the practice and will be at the scrimmage.
Eden Prairie seniors, from left, Willie Mobley, Carter Bykowski, Ryan Grant and Jeff Bowlsby are four of the Eagles? top returning players. All four said last year?s championship was the highlight of their careers
WILLIE MOBLEY, DEFENSIVE END
6-foot-2, 263 pounds
College: Undecided. He has more than 25 scholarship offers from top Division-I programs nationwide.
Earliest football memory: I grew up in Apple Valley, and you can't play until fourth grade there. I remember crying to my mom that I wanted to play early. They finally let me. I was the youngest, but I was still one of the biggest.
What drew you to football? My mom was a big college football fan. I always thought basketball would be my sport, but then when I put the pads on, I knew I was good at this.
Biggest football influence: My family. I really like that I'll have my school paid for and that they will be able to watch me and be proud of me. Every time I get on the field, I think of my family.
Best part of high school football: There's no worries. You go out there just because it's fun. People say college is the best, but it's high school.
Career highlight: The state championship. When it was over, it was like "What just happened?"
The youngster had several views of the evening sky Thursday. Unfortunately, that was because the Eagles put him on his back too many times. With Willie Mobley, a supersized All-Metro defensive lineman leading the chase, there was simply too much pressure for Alipate to get into a rhythm. He completed eight of 15 passes for 37 yards.
And the Eagles' defense overwhelmed Lakeville North's offensive line, giving Hartwell little time to throw and stunting the Panthers' attempts to spread the field.
Instead, he spent much of the night on the run from Division I prospect Willie Mobley, who finished with two sacks.

From the UCLA site...all about his interst in UCLA...not one other school mentioned (despite the fact he doesn't even have an offer from the Bruins).
Pretty slanted piece...
There have been rumblings that Eden Prairie senior defensive lineman Willie Mobley has narrowed his long list of schools to three -- UCLA, Iowa and the Gophers. Mobley, however, says he has not yet settled on any finalists.
