For people with experience sure. For former recruits with no tape? They are morons if they are there are 4500 kids in portal. 1000+ kids are probably going to end up with no home and no nil.

Every single one of these Ohio State transfers will find another roster to land on. Same thing with almost all of the transfers from other P4 programs.

It's the guys at lower levels who are really taking the big risk trying to find a greener pasture.

Yes they are just might not be where they think they might. If they go out with dreams of LSU, USC, Florida and get stuck with less money but a starting position at UTEP, Bowling Green etc..

And just a point of clarification I wasn't calling the kids morons. I was calling the people who take a flyer on a freshman with no tape over some lower level kid who has shown it on the field morons.

Don’t know if he could play at an elite level but you don’t become an All American wrestler by being soft.

Special kid……we talk about “Ohio Powers” sometimes.

“Wrestling Powers” should be right next to it. You don’t win state championship wrestling in Pennsylvania without being a grinder with an insanely high work ethic. I’m not going to pretend I know this kids skill level as a defensive lineman based on his wrestling career, but I will say, he’s probably a great kid. Knuckleheads don’t make it in high level wrestling….
