When is the BOT, at least the long term members, going to be held accountable for this fiasco. I mean, I can't imagine that they weren't aware of the investigation and the findings of the PSU police in 1998, I think. Then, probably with knowledge of the police investigation, they give Sandusky emeritus status and an office on campus convenient to showers(I'm assuming that emeritus status is awarded by the BOT).
There might not be a way to immediately force them out, but they don't have to be re-appointed when their term is up.

Yep. PC gone amuk. To make it worse- his boss, the one who not only didn't report the accusations but covered them up, is not fired. Last I heard Curley is on administrative leave still collecting his salary and having the university pay his legals bills. But Joe is fired.

I get that they may have had to act. How about you go to his house, explain why they have to act...get his side at least...then hold a PC in the morning. Instead they hold a meeting...call him up and fire him over the phone. The whole thing is jacked up, but they can't do a GD thing right...even letting Joe go.

Dude, Joe had knowledge that his closest confidant was literally banging little kids within his locker room and in no way ensured he protected not only that child but other children that this monster was in contact with on a daily basis. I think you are clear....just as if you saw a neighbor raping a child in your neighborhood and called the police. You continue to see the same neighbor coming and going and still involved with a local boys home...do you follow up with the police on this issue to see where it stands? Do you confront the neighbor? Or are you satisfied with your effort?
