Not everyone is on BP 24/7 to know when there picks are up. Or some people god forbid might actually have to work or be away from their computer for a few hours.

Not everyone is on BP 24/7 to know when there picks are up. Or some people god forbid might actually have to work or be away from their computer for a few hours.
Work is no excuse. You should know that by now, Piney. :)

If they got something going on and cant check BP for half a day then they should PM someone the pick they want, and the 2nd, 3rd, and so on options in case the player is already off of the board.

Dude, this is not the most important thing going on in most people's lives, I would bet. I'm sure you can hold plenty of drafts with yourself in between picks on the big board

Its not too tough to just put 3 players names in a PM to someone in the draft.
I dont see how that is asking so much.

I did that last year. I simply PM'd 3 guys to the commish when my pick was getting close, and let him know to take the first guy on the list that was still available when my team came up.
Otherwise last year could have been even slower. :tongue2:

I did this last year too. I'll probably do it again whenever we get with in a couple picks of my draft spot. I mean whats it really matter if you post it or 27 posts it as long as you get the player you want. Then you can always give your write up when you log back on.

Mock Owners/GMs,
I would like to ask for your cooperation in speeding up the draft. Whenever the draft is within 5 or so picks of your next pick, please PM me your top choice. If possible, please also include your 2nd and 3rd choices (although I understand that sometimes that isn't possible).
With your picks in hand, I can announce your selection if you are not present. I appreciate that half the fun of this process is personally announcing the selection. In that regard, I will wait 2 hours in case you get on. However, we simply will not finish at this pace. The further we get, the more opportunities everyone will have to make picks and outrageous reaches for their beloved Buckeyes.
Please do your part to help us run this smoothly. Check in when you can, and make the draft thread your first and last stop whenever you're on BP. If you are going to be away from BP for an extended time, please notify BN27 or I so everyone isn't waiting for hours to then vote on your pick.
