    • Another great show that I try to catch.

    Was watching an epidsode last night where he was at a restaurant in Nebraska that serves deep-fried carp.

    We used to throw those things in the garbage when we caught them!

    Love this show. He has a book out based on this show that I got for my Father in law for Christmas, it is a breakdown of some of his favorite places he has been to and has some of the recipes from different places he has been to

    His guy's big bite show is pretty good to makes some good stuff on there

    No. The kind that wears a sweatband at all times, highlights his hair, always has sunglasses on, even when he's inside doing his regular show and who says shit like "out of town and back around" or whatever...is not "loveable"...as a matter of fact, I'd like to punch him in the eye.

    And he has a goatee, which is beardish in nature, thus presenting a complex problem for you.

    Not really. If he had a full beard, maybe. The goatee cancels out the sunglasses or the wrist band...but not both...and definitely not the highlighted hair.

    The prhases he uses are unforgiveable. Though, I suspect if he had a full beard, he wouldn't say shit like that to begin with.

    He did a show on a place called Leo's BBQ in Oklahoma City so I decided to give it a shot. I looked the address up and headed off there. When I got there it was an old gas station. There was a sign on the door saying Leo's had moved and gave directions to the new location. I figured thay had moved up in the world and found a nicer place. When I got the the new place it was a slightly larger old gas station. The place was awful looking. In a shitty section of town. You had to walk across a busy road from the parking lot. The bathroom was horrid, they served cool-aid in a paper cup. The place was dirty, smokey and poorly lit. I pretty certain that I got a low grade food poisoning from eating there. It was, however, the best damn BBQ I've had since I moved to Oklahoma.

    Speaking of dives, my favorite in Columbus is Chef-O-Nette...also (not sure if this counts) but I had an amazing meal at Betty's on Friday night. Starliner Diner in Hilliard is another amazing one.

    I think the fact it is on High Street in the Short North probably precludes Betty's from being a "dive".

    Plus he's from Cali, what do you expect him to be? Have you ever met OCBF?

    Don't get me wrong, I watch the show. I like the show. Just...damn dude, at what point in his life did he not get his ass kicked for wearing that wrist band?
