Perhaps you need to seek some counseling for making such a stupid statement and if you are so certain its against anNCCA violation I challenge you to post the exact verbiage right out of the rule book. You won't be able to find it because there is NO such violation. It simply doesn't exist. If I am not representing the university its not a violation in any manner. Its no more a violation as if I were to write to my neighbor. Know you're facts before you post a ridiculous statement like you did.

Correct spellings of verbiage and ridiculous in the same post?

GPA!

Well.. for the casual observer it may seem to be a close copy..

The biggest thing guys, is that I was handed vBulletin to install... not a problem... I installed it... hit up vBulletin.org for hacks and such, we then hit up the CPMS systems.. vBadvanced was the best out there for free..

It wasn't until after we installed it that we realized that BP had the same portal system.

But even before we had installed that, we had already decided that we would be coding our own special CPMS system for it... it needs a distinct professional look to it, that we just can't get with what is out there right now.

Anyways, as any techie in the world.. if it helps what I love, I will do it.. when I fix the reputation system, if Clarity is open to it, I would LOVE to donate that code to you guys.

Anyways, I will still be around here from time to time... but for now, I have way to much work to chit chat :)

I was worried he would be influenced by the excitement of last nights Rutgers win. I just hope he really weights everything and as exciting as last night is its no comparison to a big program like Ohio State.

Think of me as crazy, maybe this is but I was thinking of writing Anthony Davis and appealing to him to come to Ohio State providing him with solid reasons why Ohio State would be the right choice. Who knows it might just make a difference

It seems as though most of what I read on his thread is negative. I think a fair assessment on a players performance does involve both the positive and negative but I rarely read any upbeat positive comments. Some not all and not even the mast majority seem to always post the negative. Its kind of a shame.

I have a very quick legal question... Two, actually...

I bought an item a month ago, a LoveSac. It's basically a giant beanbag that costs $400. They are filled with foam and shrunk down from 8ft in diameter to about twice the size of a computer monitor and it fits in a duffel bag. When you get it home, you fluff it up and it's 8ft in diameter. There's a lifetime warranty on the foam inside, and a 1 year warranty on the cover.

When I bought it, they told me that I would be able to shrink it back down by vacuuming the air out. They never told me that there were two bags of material that were put in one giant cover. They never informed me about the return policy or the restocking fee, and there were no signs in the store indicating this policy. The restocking fee was mentioned on the receipt, but I didn't get the receipt until AFTER I made the purchase and they had my money.

Well, when they brought it out to the car, I saw that it was in two duffel bags, so it's two pieces that go in one giant cover. When we got it home and fluffed it up, we realized that the bag had no vacuum seal on it, so we couldn't vacuum the air out. Come to find out, they don't have vacuum seal-able bags, the girl just lied to us. Basically, the thing was so big that it takes up our entire van, which is a big deal when you consider that we're supposed to move home in a week, and we have an entire apartment full of stuff, plus the lovesac, that we're supposed to take home.

The two inserts is a big deal, because instead of being a giant beanbag, it's two beanbags in a giant bag. When Janelle and I would sit on it, she would be 6 inches higher than I was, when we're supposed to be level. That's because of the two inserts...if it were just one, we'd be level. Their website says "insert," not inserts.

In the store, the sacs are very comfortable, when you sit down, the pieces of foam are very small and it feels almost like gel. When you get up, they spring back to where they were, and you only have to fluff them once a day. Our lovesac was very very lumpy, when I would sit in it, I would be just a couple inches from the ground. You had to fluff it every hour or so, and the consistency was like a feather pillow instead of the gel bag in the store. Very very uncomfortable.

Well, last night, the zipper broke on the cover. Broke off. We decided to take the thing back to the store, since the entire thing was defective and we had been lied to.

When we got there, they offered us a refund, but told us that there was a 25% restocking fee. The manager admitted that both the insert and the cover were defective.

Is this legal? Can they charge a restocking fee on a defective item?

Also, Janelle paid for it, and she is leaving for a wedding tomorrow, so she wanted the money then. They gave us the option of leaving it in the store while we took the issue up with customer service, because the manager refused to budge on the policy (he even got mouthy, then screamed at Janelle and I, to the point where she broke out in tears...). Janelle decided to take the refund, minus the 25% restocking fee, and we are going to call the corporate office tomorrow.

What I want to know about that is did we screw ourselves out of the possibility of getting the rest of the refund, the restocking fee, if these people did indeed violate the law and we would otherwise be entitled to a refund?

I already looked at the Uniform Commercial Code, and it seems that they are guilty of false advertising and fraud, but I am obviously not a lawyer.

Thanks for any advice you can give!

Waaa

I am not talking of you two. I am speaking about a few who seem to flourish in anything negative about him and want to create controversy or have negative / degrogatory comments and that seems to be their whole basis. Its not that I am against being critical of someone when they deserve it but its when the entire sense of their conversation seems to negative and that's it, its undeserving

I'm always amazed that buckeye fans rail on each other so much. I'm not talking about this board -- but other boards. I rarely visit , but when I do its shocking to me. If you love the buckeyes then what the hell is there to argue so much about.

OSUGrad21......

1-It was Giant Eagle on 5th, not Big Bear.....

The rest is just ...just the real reason why this whole "site" controversy is happening....

I chose to PM you instead of publicly having a field day....

I can not beleave the pure ignorance coming from this tread! If you had a loved one locked up for anything you would want support! That is what people get from prison talk. it is a fourm just like this one IT IS TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER through a diffult time....
Ignorance is bliss...should your bliss get interfered with, you know where to find us
Walk a mile in the people on prison talks shoes for one day then come back and post your comments!
In your words you dont know any "one stupid enough to get locked up" goes to show how
pathetic & immature people can be.........

met my wife and soulmate in '97, just out of high school while working late nights, coming home late at night and screwing around online for fun, since i am as nocturnal as they come, and everyone else was asleep...........absolutely no intention of LOOKING for somebody to meet up with or get serious about, things just happened..........we talked for COUNTLESS hours on the phone before finally, and with much apprehension, meeting in person, and the chemistry was out of this world.........we fit every conception of the word "soulmate"..............moved out to CA in '99, married in '01, and have a 20 month old baby girl that i can't even describe in words

i consider myself to be extremely blessed and lucky, and for the first few years felt a little funny about the way we met, only because of people's narrow minded reactions, but now i'm completely over it..........we are the exception to the rule to say the least...........the coolest thing about it is we have tons and tons of emails and such that we saved while we were "dating" i guess you could say, that we can look back at now, which is a rarity

i say this in all seriousness: i could probably book a movie deal with our story if i desired to, that would put "You Got Mail" to shame

---------------------------------------------------------

on the other side of the coin my roommate at the time i met my wife, who also spent a lot of time online at the time, hooked up with 2 girls long distance, and they both to this day, are 2 of the most messed up females i've ever encountered........one was pretty much psychotic, and she has a PhD in pscyhology now, imagine THAT

my last boss used to use matchmaker.com all the time and was constantly meeting chicks, and just about every time he met one, it was followed with stories that were pure comedy........he ended up marrying a chick, and they divorced six months later............their relationship was the very definition of disfunctional
