Wrong glass, Sir.
This is pretty intriguing. While I've been fully assimilated into listening to music digitally through my ipod or computers, I'm also fully aware that the sound is not that good. Particularly, since I'm old enough (barely) to have heard great analog, vacuum tube based vinyl/reel-to-reel equipment made in the 70's. If this could even come close to that sound quality with compressed, digital music, it would be a hell of an accomplishment--even at two grand.

Forget about that crud.

Head-Fi.org: Headphones, iPod earphones, portable audio, MP3 players, high-end audio
stereophile.org

Wanna find a better way to spend $2000 dollars? Think you can't hear great music?

These guys will help you blow that 2000 so fast your wallet will catch fire.

That DAC is great, but I'm sure there are better.

The best music you'll hear is out of headphones. The latest fad is IEMs (In ear monitors). Head-Fi.org: Headphones, iPod earphones, portable audio, MP3 players, high-end audio is a website dedicated to hi-fi head gear.

So we're talking FLAC lossless audio files, headphone amplifiers (I didnt even know they made those), serious headphones (not your sony, bose crap), bookshelf speakers, etc.

I would definitely defer my opinion of this logitch stuff to those guys.

Confession: I am an audiophile!
I have invested in audio for years and have a nice little dedicated stereo.
And a portable "system" . 2 pair of Grado headphones and a custom built headphone amp paired with a portable cd player that sounds damn fine.
Have a 400 plus cd collection.
I love my music! :tongue2:
