Enlisted in the Army in 1981 & served in Ga. & N.C. until 1985. Was commissioned in '85 & served until 1993. Hmmmm, escaped the Clintonistas!

If I had stayed in, I would have been retired in 2012 at age 38. I could have done another 20 years somewhere else and had 2 retirements at age 58.

Commissioned through OSU ROTC in June of 67. Served four years of Active Duty and 26 years in the reserves. Tour in Vietnam, 6 months for Desert Shield/Storm, three short tours to Germany. Retired in 1997.

Jul 03 - Current: Active Army

On June 30th I will return to the Air Force National Guard and tOSU to finish my degree. I then hope to be accepted to dental school and return to active duty.

Currently serving in the U. S. Coast Guard in Puerto Rico. I have a little over 16 years in. Finally get to move back to the States this summer.

Army National Guard, 1984-1990. Had to be the quietest and most boring 6 years in Army history. Served as a Field Artillery Radar Operator for the old Q-4 Radar set (circa 1952 vintage). When they phased that out in favor of the Q-36, I became pretty much a glorified foot soldier for the rest of my tour, although I did get the Army Achievement Medal in 1989. :)
