Yeah, it's been pretty bad lately....was in a commo shop B-hut the other day, and noticed that a plywood section of the ceiling was was missing. It was part of a cleanup effort.

Back in 92 we had 6+ (I don't recall the exact number) suicides at Edson Range (between Range Co & Field Co).

The solution? A two hour lecture from the CO & chaplain.

The consensus was that if anyone even thought about offing themselves everyone else would kick their ass so as not to go through the damn lecture again.

I was, and it's continuing to do nothing but pay off.

Here recently I've required some pretty extensive medical care and The VA has been nothing but a wonderful group of people to deal with.

I'm very pleased with my experience in being treated @ The VA.

Not to mention, while I was in I got to see some exotic places over in the Pacific and went up and down the west coast.

To enlist was a smart move on my part.

I couldn't have done more time than I did, but I'm glad I finished out my term.

Yes, from 1994-2008. I spent the first eight years active duty Army as a Pathfinder, a paratrooper, and a Stryker squad leader. I spent the last six in the PA National Guard while earning my degree. And wouldn't you know it, my deployments came while I was in the Guard.
