.........living pretty much off the grid with the exception of water.

So far here is where I'm at:
Exit Loan counseling: must repay $62,000+
Gas Bills due: $750
Electric Bills due: $320
Water Bills due: $210
Rent due: $1000 after late fees
Credit Card total due: $7100

Regardless of what one thinks of Cleveland, it's been a lousy couple of weeks...

Pitchfork: R.I.P. Comics Legend Harvey Pekar

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the pioneering comic book memoirist and jazz critic Harvey Pekar died this morning. No cause of death has been announced yet. Pekar was 70.

Pekar is best known for American Splendor, the long-running underground comic book series in which he chronicled his life as a curmudgeonly Cleveland file clerk, with help from artists like Robert Crumb. In 1987, American Splendor won the American Book Award. In 2003, the series was adapted into an acclaimed film, with Paul Giamatti playing Pekar and the real Pekar periodically appearing. Pekar also often appeared on "Late Night With David Letterman".
Pekar was also an accomplished jazz critic, writing for such outlets as JazzTimes and The Austin Chronicle. Last year, Pekar wrote the libretto for a jazz opera called "Leave Me Alone", in which he also played himself and delivered the opening monologue.

.....there were growing worldwide hostilities between the US, North Korea, UK, Russia, China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan, etc, etc, etc and then out of the blue some random ass country with a hidden nuke had a hidden agenda to end to take over the world......like say Iceland or some crazy shit like that. Say they launched a small nuke at CHina, Russia, or the US.........neither would presume it in a million years that some country like Iceland would do that shit and they would all be pointing fingers and firing at each other starting WWIII.......while Iceland kicks back on a recliner on their island and laughs and say "I did that"

He clearly didn't get enough love from his parents and needs to post crap on message boards to get attention. The dude is about as pathetic as they come. I'd say he should seek help, but that might make him feel better about himself and I'd prefer he and his herpes infested body was miserable. Even the people on that board realize he's a closet case...

Not only that but it's clear that he's always been the loser, the guy kicked in the ass at school everyday, the guy that never makes it past entry level jobs, the guy that never gets the girl etc... and the only thing that gives him any pleasure are seeing people as miserable as he is. He'll be all alone on his deathbed and no one will care, he pass on without anyone noticing.
