I think there's a reason he's on ESPNU. Same with that Mike Hall guy. ESPN sends their crappy analysts to the smaller branches(ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN News).

I like your thoughts, but the bigger reason may have to do with shock jock mentality. Shit draws flies... say some shit and draw listeners in, some of whom can't believe how dumb you are, some of whom believe the sun rises from your ass and all of whom want to scream at each other. It works for Limbaugh and Bill Cunningham, why not the nut jobs at ESPN?

It's one thing for some tool to come on a message board or a blog and make predictions that are uninformed. These guys are making a living doing this stuff! It's their job to know this information.
