Touted defensive end spurns Ohio State for Penn State

Highly rated defensive end prospect Devon Still of Wilmington, Del., chose Penn State over Ohio State yesterday.
Still, rated 10 th nationally among strongside defensive end prospects by Rivals.com, also considered Michigan, the University of Miami and West Virginia before narrowing his field.
That leaves the Buckeyes with 13 commitments heading into the final two weeks before athletes can sign with schools.

Turn out the light... on Chris Bell. He pulled a knife (not a dinner knife) on Devon Still during a fight tonight at dinner on campus. Apparently coaches were there when it happened. He went to the cops to turn himself in with a coach by his side this evening. If there was any chance he'd get a second (actually fourth or fifth) chance to be back on the team, its gone now. At least, you'd hope so.
Who carries a machete on them? And how does no one blink an eye as he carries it into lunch?

Obviously Chris Bell does.

He probably was just demonstrating a scene from his favorite Indiana Jones movie:

Seriously, how many coaches in all of CFB could survive what is happening at Happy Valley?

I wanted Cooper gone because Germany had a 0.0 GPA.
I know...this is weird. I have been one who hasn't really had anything to say about their situation over the past few years, but it really does seem like things might be getting out of control.

In his zest to field a competitive team Paterno is recruiting too many kids with "questionable character" and then failing to monitor/supervise their off the court conduct/activities. Kind of reminds me of Randy Ayers' problems here back in the 1990's. :sad2:

Agreed, and it really does seem like water might be wet.
Prove it, I don't believe it.

And I'm smarter than you, and I can prove it by stating that I, definitively KNEW that UNC would destroy Kansas Saturday.
Prior poster suggests that JoePa, in zeal to win, is recruiting marginal players. I dunno, perhaps that's true, but he's not really even recruiting the top talent...seems like all the top talent is not even close to PSU. How bad can it be when you are turning to Conference USA level kids (and the marginal character ones at that!)
