According to Mike Babcock, the Wings probably won't have the services of Franzen, Datsyuk, Hudler or Bertuzzi against Vancouver.

Datsyuk (lower body), Franzen (groin), Hudler (neck, shoulder), and Bertuzzi (back), would play if it were the playoffs notes Babcock.

works for me....I wish Lids would take some time off to get ready for the playoffs too....

I don't know about most heart, but he's certainly the best d-man, probably the 2nd best player on the team (I think Dats is better overall at this point)....

This has been a weird year for Lids - he's more or less THE Norris candidate but his +/- is very un-Lidstrom like....

Good game. Possible Conference finals preview. I can only hope that Luongo plays that well come playoffs. Daniel Sedin is playing out of his mind right now and might have just locked up the hart trophy.

How far do you guys see the wings going this year? They still seem to have the talent(when healthy) but are inconsistant at best when I watch. Always seem to be playing from behind

The inconsistency is pissing me off honestly. A team with as many veterans as this team shouldn't be this inconsistent unless they are just taking nights off.

I don't think it can be switched on and off like a switch when the playoffs start, but we'll see.

When the Wings DO play a complete game they have beaten just about everyone when that occurs. However, that's happened maybe 7 times this year. When this team takes their foot off of the gas pedal other teams can score very quickly.

IF they bring it more consistently in the playoffs they can go pretty far and maybe win it. If they show up like they did against Shitzburgh Monday they'll be first round fodder.
