Yea when it happened I actually thought that. When the announcers didn't say anything I thought I was incorrect. Turns out I just happen to know the rules better than the refs do.Sad thing is the refs screwed up the call at the end with the batted ball which makes it even more of Lions game

I'm considering it a silver lining. Frees my Sundays up and gets a better draft spot. And in the world of never would happen, I'd love to trade Stafford to Houston for a first rounder, tank the season and go in rebuild. When you have 20+ million a year for 2 additional seasons tied up to an over the hill, now possession, receiver you can't be competitive. That and Stafford is a top 20 QB, but you're not doing much with a top 20 QB. Unless you have a crazy defense like the Ravens with dilfer.Me to I turned to my dad and I was like I think that batting it out of the endzone like that was illegal though I didn't know if Detroit would get it back. But I figured it's the Lions so we'll never get the call anyways if it is. Turns out I was right and ESPN is making a huge deal over it. So much like the Calvin Johnson rule it'll be blown up in the media but not help the Lions whatsoever....

He may remind you of Brett Favre in terms of his style of play, but he's not even a poor man's Brett Favre. He's more like a dead man's Brett Favre. Unless I missed him being the type of QB who is capable of being a 3 time mvp, hall of fame QB going to 2 super bowls and winning one. And even I'll say he's better than Kitna. Somewhere between the two, but I'd say closer to Kitna.Pretty much Stafford reminds a lot of bad Brett Farve or Kitna. Good enough to make you think you have a chance only to disappoint you in the end.

Fair enough. I read "Good enough to make you think you have a chance only to disappoint you in the end" and thought "if Stafford got the Lions to 2 Super Bowls and won one there'd be a few million Lions fans wanting to give him a blowie."When I say bad Brett Farve I mean the Brett Farve that leads the league in interceptions not the one that is a MVP unless you count his first full year that was wonderful. He needs to get back to that.
