If you get the chance, check 'em out. I heard them on the Bob & Tom Show last week and was blown away.

DTB combines jazz, rock, blues, Latin, Eastern Indian, and other world music to put out something with substance.

Just got a chance to check these guys out.... so far their album SONGLINES has been great. They have a nice throw back feel about them.

I heard a little bit of them today on another teacher's i-pod. Not bad if you are into the blues/jam band sound.

Have seen him 2 times. Very good player. More traditional blues than jam band.

He warmed up the Alman Bros. He had Susan Tedeshi playing guitar, (she is the best female guitar player I have seen and can sing the blues. She is better that Bobbie Rait IMO).

Trucks is well worth the time.

Anyone else going to see George Clinton at Bogarts next month?

I have a bootleg that a friend gave me (he's seen them live several times), and I wasn't that impressed. I'll have to give it another listen or two.

I am not sure that listening to a bootleg is going to help your opinion. He is a live player. Must be seen to apreciate his guitar playing.

saw them at the Granada Theatre in Dallas, with about 200 of my best friends, great f'n show. he was amazing.
