Just sayin': Even if Hoke would be allowed to release information about a players health (and he is not) he wouldn't do it. You really don't know DeTard's status and Hoke likes it that way. You always want to keep the opposing coaches guessing where they have to waste practice time preparing for him just in case he plays.

I don't think they're the same. Gardner isn't fast enough to be able to pull off what Denard does. From the couple games I've seen with Gardner under center, they look like they're trying to run a more pro style offense with a thrower who can run.Agreed. They're basically the same QB and run the same plays. The only difference is that they probably run more running plays with DR and passing plays with DG.
