Deion Sanders (HC Colorado)

Sounds like a savior complex to me.
I didn’t take it like that. More to, I’m sure most coaches are thinking the same. Make the best decision for your future. And we’re seeing as a number of kids are now on schools 3, 4 or 5. They clearly were blinded by the bag, and ignored a blessing at another school… I know Coach Prime isn’t popular so you can interpret it however you’d like

I, genuinely, regret if my statement came off as something that anyone else needs to consider or agree with. I'm sure that it reaches a certain athletic demographic. The "complex" portion for me is that I presume he's stating it as him offering someone stands out differently (blessing) than someone else. Hence, the savior complex. As you allude, to each their own. I don't like or dislike Prime. He's irrelevant to me.

I love Deion….he’s proved the doubters wrong. Fantastic year at Colorado but don’t have the depth needed to get to that next level.

My assumption is he is in the NFL next year with his son, but MASSIVE props for the season they had.

He reminds me of Dabo,….very much a figure head, but tries to hire elite coordinators and be more inspirational than X’s and O’s. Heavily involved in recruiting.

Not sure how it’d work in NFL but into k he gets buy-in from his players. And he makes the sport more interesting…..

The Heisman is a joke and has been for awhile now. I mean who really gives a fuck.
I would actually give him credit if he had ANYTHING to do with Hunter's talent or success. For as terrible of a coach as Lincoln Riley has turned out to be, he can churn out Heiman winning QBs like it's easy. Put me on the sideline in Colorado and Travis Hunter would still be a freak.

I’m not sure that’s entirely fair. Hunter was eased into the WR position and was limited in gameplay early on as Deion would routinely mention Travis had to grow in certain areas both on and off the field before he’d cut him loose. In todays era with the portal I think it says quite a bit that no only did Hunter commit to Deion at Jackson State, but he kept the faith that Deion would develop him after an up and down freshman season and moved onto Colorado with him.
