Correct the Cornelia Marie website says the boats owner and Phil's partner is Cornelia Marie Devlin. It is mentioned under the crew section of the site but only the site's front page is loading up as of now.

RIP Phil

Fair enough.

I'm watching this show called Mayday! Bering Sea on Discovery right now and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Deadliest Catch.

It's about the Alaska Ranger that sank in March of 2008. With stories from the crew, one of the crew member's brothers who was on a different boat at the time and from the coast guard. One of the Coast Guard members was talking about staying in the ocean and waiting for the helicopter to return to pick more people, so that another survivor from the sunken ship could live.

Anyone ready for the start of the new season? This has been one of my all time favorite shows on TV. Every time they have a marathon on Discovery I always end up watching it.

I've seen many commercials for the new season. The song for the commercial sounds like Eddie Vedder, can anyone verify this?

Jake was a complete wreck(mumbled speech, crying) when Phil found him trying to steal his pain meds. Too top it off he said he was an addict. I guess that is why he has been so out of it this entire season. Jake Anderson has nothing but bad luck. He stabbed himself with a knife and hurt his hand fairly bad, his dad has gone missing (dead?) and didn't his sister die either last season or a few seasons ago? I thought it was kind of surprising that Andy Hilstrand started tearing up in After the Catch when they showed a segment of him and Phil hanging out and working on their Harley's.

Anyone else think these last few episodes have been difficult or weird to watch? It's odd (to me) that a person's death on tv can make me feel like it does when I personally know somebody that has died. This has easily grown into my all time favorite show.
