If anything he would grow into a defensive tackle. Hes already at 255 lbs...

Why move him to tackle just because he gets heavier? Will Smith was 265 going into his senior season and I believe he was around 270 near the end of the year, and he was "only" 6'3". He's now at 282 according to the Saints website, and was on the all-rookie team in 2004, so I'd his going up to 280 pounds didn't hurt him at the pro level. So I'd say the Rose at 6'4" (and may still be growing) could definitely afford to get up to 285-290 and be quick enough to stay at DE.

My bad, I didnt mean to sound as if I think that we should move him inside. I just meant to say that if he plays anywhere other than DE, than it will most likely be as a DT, not a linebacker. I feel the same way, no doubt he should be a DE during his college career.

Man, can you imagine if he did grow another inch or two and put on 25-30 pounds of muscle while maintaining his quickness and speed? It would be almost immoral...well, almost.

The kid's already tough enough to block  .

I've heard good things about Robert finding his "football niche" this year. In the past there was a lot of talk that he was more athlete than football player at that point in his career. Everyone I've talked to that's seen him this year has said he looks more like a football player this year than he ever has. Very encourgaing. Shows tremendous upside for Robert.

Yes, but from the game I was at, he still has a fair ways to go before he can be a great player. He's still got a lot to learn and needs to become much more consistent. That said, between the body he's been blessed with and the raw untapped potential he still hasn't found, he's got everything he needs to become great.

I remember reading in one of the recent "Barton injured, Boone replacing" articles that Michigan State has 1 or 2 DE's at or around 300 pounds. That's a BIG DE! As freakish as Rose is, if anyone could pull off being a 300 pound DE, it would be him.

Out of Rose, Dublin, and Wesley: I'd imagine Dublin would be the first to move to DT. I heard he's getting some work at DT on his high school team. Watching his videos, I find his style closely related to Quinn Pitcock's too. He has a nose for the ball and creates havok on his way there
