Probably he isn't 100% sure where he wants to play football at this point in time; however, I'm guessing the Under Amour All-American Game paid him a sizable sum to commit on TV during the game. So he committed to get the cash, etc. He can still change his mind before the national signing day in February.

Oh true I forgot about NIL could extend to underarmor paying to commit on air. Cause outside of that if you aren't sure commit on signing day no point in making a decision now that you'd change in a month but NIL does change that.

Lock in your spot at OSU and give other teams a month to get their final bids in. Once you have everyone's best offer, you make your final decision but at very worst, you have your spot at OSU.

Don't hate the player, find a way to own the game.

I'm pretty sure at this point he already has a spot locked for OSU there kinda like Touimolou had last year. 2023 guys I get it. 22 amonth before signing day. Make a decision when you know unless well you're getting paid to make a decision early.
