DE Nick Bosa (Pro Bowl, All Pro, 2019 ROY, 2022 DPOY, San Francisco 49ers)

Former Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa rocks Buckeye suit liner at NFL Draft

Nick Bosa is the only Buckeye on site at the 2019 NFL Draft, and he came in style on the red carpet. He looked dapper enough dressed in a gray suit and tie, but it was what was lined inside the suit that was worth a second look.

While doing interviews on the red carpet, Bosa opened up his suit and gave everyone a look at some scarlet and gray swag made especially for him as a suit liner — complete with block O’s and Brutus.

MARVEL CREATES CUSTOM COMIC BOOK COVERS FEATURING DWAYNE HASKINS AND NICK BOSA

There were certainly times throughout their Buckeye careers that Dwayne Haskins and Nick Bosa seemed to have superhuman abilities, but Marvel just made it comic book official.

Teaming up with ESPN, Marvel redesigned five classic comic book covers to feature a 2019 NFL Draft pick in the place of the iconic Marvel hero, and both Haskins and Bosa got the treatment.

Marvel reworked Bosa into the cover of a different Avenger's comic book debut, reimagining the former Buckeye star as Iron Man in the comic book INVINCIBLE IRON MAN (1968) #1.

Not sure I’d do him as Iron Man, but that’s me.

"Invincible" ... For the guy that was shut down after three games last season.

"Amazing" or "Spectacular" would have been better.

Exactly. I’m not looking to knock Nick but the words “Invincible” and “Iron Man” for a guy who has had multiple season ending injuries in his career before playing a down in the NFL just doesn’t seem very accurate, even if just for fun.

SKULL SESSION: OHIO STATE FOOTBALL'S THREE-YEAR OUTLOOK, RANKING RYAN DAY, AND J.K. DOBBINS IS AMONG THE BEST

THROWBACK THURSDAY.
Hey, remember when Joey Bosa was a freshman and people were simultaneously talking about how absurdly good he was but that his high school brother was even better?

Those conversations felt hyperbolic at the time, yet here we are.

I hesitate to give this take too much praise, because like, what person on the planet was picking against the Bosa brothers, especially after Joey's freshman year? On the other, the fact that this isn't really even a bold take highlights the hilarity of the situation.

He looked at a sophomore in high school and thought "Yeah, he'll be an NFL player one day" and five years later I'm complaining that the #take wasn't bold enough.
