DE Mike Vrabel (All B1G, All American, All Pro, Super Bowl Champ, HC NE Patriots)

Curious move.

The reason I say this is, if I were the type to jump to conclusions, it seems unlikely that Vrabel would up and leave his friend and boss Fickell during a situation where it's literally make it or break it for Fickell. Next year, it is (was?) going to be do or die for Fickell's defense to improve by leaps and bounds.

It is Vrabel's decision to take the Texans position, but that doesn't mean it wasn't swayed by some other decision. So does this mean that Vrabel knows something we don't? Could be that he wouldn't be working FOR his friend moving forward.

Guess we'll wait and see.

I'm out if tin foil and all, but there's a part of me that thinks this could be part of what's going on.

Wonder if this has anything to do with the writing being on the wall for Fickell basically.

Either way, I kinda figured he wouldn't be here long and I wish him well in THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE (™ Mark Schlereth)
