The reason I say this is, if I were the type to jump to conclusions, it seems unlikely that Vrabel would up and leave his friend and boss Fickell during a situation where it's literally make it or break it for Fickell. Next year, it is (was?) going to be do or die for Fickell's defense to improve by leaps and bounds.

It is Vrabel's decision to take the Texans position, but that doesn't mean it wasn't swayed by some other decision. So does this mean that Vrabel knows something we don't? Could be that he wouldn't be working FOR his friend moving forward.

Guess we'll wait and see.

I thought he'd be here till he got an offer to be a DC for some college team...which is why I thought he'd be here at least 2 more yrs. and why I was shocked to see this news.
