Anyone know his involvement in Thomas? From a recruiting standpoint other than being his eventual position coach.

I really didn't think so. My understanding was that he loves Columbus and it's unlikely that he needs the money. I really hoped he'd be here for a while.

I really didn't think so. My understanding was that he loves Columbus and it's unlikely that he needs the money. I really hoped he'd be here for a while.

My guess is that the NFL is where he really wants to be (and there is nothing wrong with that). And if so, it is good career move for him. Regardless, I wish him the best.

Vrabel was the lone shining star on the D staff this past year, both as a coach and on the recruiting trail. To lose that is beyond huge.
