Rivals $

12/31

From the OSU site...talks about his officials to Auburn and OSU and will visit FSU and Tennessee next.

I felt that this update (although done by OSU's Rivals site) was a great update for the Buckeyes and it seemed that Keith was very impressed with everything the Buckeyes are doing on the field, and especially with his recruitment.

$ Scout.com: Offense-Defense Presser Audio $

Such a very well spoken young man.

Talks about his future with football, his experiences, what he plans to major in, etc..

Any program would love to have this kid.

Agree'd I admit to having not listened to all that many recruits before, but I have a hard time to imagine that there are many out there who give a better interview then K. Wells. He has offically climbed up to the top spot with Pryor and Jenkins for player I want most thats left on the board.

Scout.com: Wells Has Some Things To Consider

I might be hearing things, but, did KW sound a little choked up at the end when he was talking about JT?

If that is the case, then you are crazy if you want someone else more than this kid. I already think this kid is going to be a special player simply based on his speed off the edge, but after listening to that, I just want the kid to succeed where ever he goes.

When you hear a kid talk about how lucky he is, hear how he appreciates the little things from people, and takes nothing for granted......you can't help but root for them.

Consider me "sold" on Keith Wells.......

...and by the way...."Predator" might he the coolest nickname I've ever heard.

I think Well's would be a great fit in this class. More of an edge rusher. Does the board think we take Wells or Corey Liuget? Liuget is visiting on the 11th. Is one offer contingent on the other?

Why not both...if possible. From what I'm reading no one seems to really know how many slots could be filled. Wells is a tremendous kid!!

Bingo. Just get the blue-chip Big Speed boys on board and then figure out where is best for them...

I think Wells would be against RR's spread, but everywhere else, Luiget. Regardless, I want them both.

Luiget may have more versatility than Wells though. From seeing the comments made about Luiget's recent size increases, he may be able to move inside against RR's spread (or permanently for that matter) which gives him a little more value. Either way, like it's been said many times before, JT will make room for these guys if they decide to come on board.

Agreed. I think JT knows a little bit more than I do. My thoughts against RR's spread were that you are better off in a 3-4 of sorts with a bigger guy like Shaq plugging the middle and all the athletes driving to the holes.

Questions: Solomon Thomas did redshirt, right? And doesn't he have about the same chassis size as Wells w/upside to grow. How would you all compare their skills set? I like the thought of having these bookends.

Did Martin do anything at Tennessee this year. I missed the Cal game and they weren't on out here all year, that I saw anyway?

Is it possible that we may have gotten the best of that deal?

Apologies for mixing threads, etc.
