JOHN SIMON ON JOEY BOSA: 'HE’S DEFINITELY A PHYSICAL FORCE ON THE FIELD'
Before Joey Bosa arrived on Ohio State’s campus, he posted a photo on his Instagram account of him standing side-by-side with former Buckeyes All-American John Simon with a caption that read, “This is what I am looking to turn into at Ohio State.”

DE Joey Bosa: Tabbing one of the most disruptive defenders in the nation isn’t exactly a bold choice, but Bosa’s production, talent and motor are just about impossible to replace. And after losing bookend starter Steve Miller at defensive end last season along with defensive tackle Michael Bennett, the Buckeyes will be counting on their star pass-rusher even more this season until a young but talented group of linemen develop and help shoulder the load. Bosa is a rare specimen and a potential No. 1 draft pick next season, and asking somebody to fill that void would be a supremely tall order.
OHIO STATE DEFENSIVE END JOEY BOSA SIDELINED TWO WEEKS WITH FOOT INJURY
Ohio State All-American defensive end Joey Bosa was seen rolling around on a scooter Friday evening at the Ohio State Football Job Fair, sporting a walking boot on his right foot.
The university is calling Bosa's injury a right foot sprain and when asked about it, Bosa said, "It's not a big deal. Two weeks and I'll be out of it."
Bosa said the scooter is just used as a precautionary measure.
Joey Bosa is Far From a Finished Product, And He is Trying to Remedy That
There is serious talk that Ohio State's rising junior defensive end Joey Bosa could end up as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft next May. Scuttlebutt like that could imply that Bosa is a finished product.
For an NFL team to commit a $25 million contract to somebody, you would hope that any finishing touches would be taken care of well before they ever get near their first NFL jersey.
For Bosa and the Buckeyes, it was those finishing touches that were the focus of his spring. They worked on better hand usage, more refined pass rush moves, and a consistent and disciplined approach that wouldn't lead to any gaps in a defensive line that is breaking in two new starters.

Recorded the B1G classic "The Game" and had not watched it since the original broadcast. Joey apparently had a VIP pass to scUM's backfield...I mean seriously, I would be shocked if Devin Gardner's dreams are not haunted by a shrugging Joey Bosa every night. It was damn near every play that Joey was blowing up a play, one of the best individual efforts I have seen from a Buckeye defender in a game. Retroactive kudos Joey...do it again this year, but to Sugar Shane.
I can see Joey getting to Shane Morris a lot more. Devin Gardner was more elusive as a dual 'threat' he got lucky to extend some plays against us. But Morris being a pro style guy not as quick I see a lot of shrugs coming above Shane Morris quite like Boren(if I'm correct?) standing above Gardner a couple years ago. The nightmares will continue.
