St. Thomas' Joey Bosa reaffirms commitment to Ohio State after fan photo flap

A strange incident during his unofficial visit to Ohio State has had the Internet buzzing for days about Joey Bosa?s commitment to the Buckeyes.

Wednesday afternoon after a spring practice at St. Thomas Aquinas, one of the nation?s top prospects affirmed he is still headed to Ohio State.

?Everything is okay with Ohio State, 100 percent okay,? the Raiders defensive lineman said. ?It?s not their fault. It was just a crazy fan.?

Earlier this week multiple news outlets reported that Pennsylvania linebacker Alex Anzalone decommitted from Ohio State after learning Charles Waugh?a fan he posed with in a picture while visiting Columbus?was a registered sex offender in Kentucky. Bosa and fellow Ohio State visitor Mike Heuerman, a tight end who has verbally committed to Notre Dame, were also in the picture.

Bosa, who is rated the nation?s No. 14 overall prospect by Rivals.com, said the recruits knew of Waugh?s affinity for Ohio State, but that they were unaware of his sex offender status.

?We thought it was funny to see him because we all knew who he was,? Bosa said. ?He?s a crazy fan. We thought it was funny because he?s always posting online.?

Video by Campbell....Working on improving his game this Spring. Still hearing from Alabama, but says he's 100% committed to Ohio State & is very excited to get to Columbus. Will visit again some time this summer & again for an official. Mentions talking to Michael Deeb about checking out Ohio State.

Video & scouting report by Simmons.....Says the staff came to watch his scrimmage on 5/24, where he shined with 3 or 4 sacks. Talks about what separated Ohio State from the rest & says no where else he visited compares. Several schools are still recruiting him, but says he's 100% Buckeye unless something drastic was to happen at Ohio State. Has high expectations for the program going forward.
