That caught my eye as well and then back to the champion thing....we all saw what Sawyer looked like in the spring game. Bosa/Young type of disruptor and he did not grade out champion for the scrimmage.

Now, there may be good reason for that but it's a big part of my "holeeeee shit" reaction to seeing a top recruit lose his black stripe in 10 days of being on campus and then, apparently, more than hold his own in a full scrimmage against a no doubt about it talented OL.

We may be looking at a dead QB (or two) sometime soon like

Surprised to hear that Jack Sawyer came in under 230 pounds. That's the difference here... there's no substitute for 275 pounds. Especially if that 275 can move like a speed rusher.

I just can't get over where we will be for the 2023 season on the DL.
