DE Chase Young (Nagurski, Hendricks, Bednarik, Silver Football, NFL DROY, New Orleans Saints)

Latest rumor? Dude that rumor was put to bed on Friday
You might be right, could be a regurgitation of a previous story. Even so, it means the rumor is still alive, not put to bed just yet. This never goes our way.

I don't do Twitter so I'm not following any of that only last articles that pop up so our might not be the actual "latest"

Klatt doesnt include... but other sources have also added 'not a booster' to that list.
So here's what leaves me feeling like we dont get whole story...

What, then, is the violation ??

Can anybody say what 'the violation' is ??

If he took the loan from bank, would that be a suspension ? I cant fathom that ?
Also get feeling NCAA is dragging feet so it continues to be Ohio State suspending him... then after Penn State they'll say '1 game suspension - time served'. That's the kind of silly shit NCAA does.

Nah dad should have taken 250,000 without Chase's knowledge. free and clear.
Cam had no idea. How can he be punished?

It's not like he was going to a fake class and given a grade for not even attending like Chase did. Am I confusing us with UNC? I can't remember. No Chase was caught up in the booster taking him to the strip clubs and giving him a bunch of money wasn't he? Or was that Miami.

Either way, I hope the NCAA doesn't drop the hammer on us like they did UNC, Auburn, or Miami.

Crap, I thought he was caught in a car with weed and illegal handgun. Or was that Bama?

If only a USC booster had paid $1283/mo towards a $3866/mo rent over 13 months, for combined total of $16,679. Then Chase would only have to pay $5352 to a charity ... or less than 1/3rd what he received... and not miss a single game.

There was also that TE that got caught in undercover FBI op with dealer level of drugs in his dorm room.
That shit got disappeared fast.

Edit: Found it. This guy got disappeared from Bama history some time in '15 it seems. He was still on Spring Roster and Media Guide... then gone unless you know what to search for.

https://www.al.com/news/tuscaloosa/2014/10/what_happened_to_kurt_freitag.html
"19 of the 22 people from who they seized cash were charged with crimes related to the drugs they were caught with, ranging from small-scale stuff such as possession of drug paraphernalia all the way to trafficking charges.
...
Freitag isn't a comparative small fry, either. The $4,600 seized from his dorm room on Oct. 6 was WANTF's second-largest haul in the last month"
... Freitag was never charged.
Saban keeps a tight ship.
