Criticism of Knowles was warranted up until 4 games ago. He's been part of a NC now so he gets more trust and slack but let's see what it looks like next year sans his boat load of seniors.

A 4 game heater doesn't end the conversation for al time no matter how triggering some find non positive commentary.

His defenses went from ranked 24th to 4th to 1st. Maybe we can criticize him for year 1 but the last two years our losses were not really on the defense

I'm a believer that LJ maintained his DL friefdom until after the Oregon loss. Getting to 24th in his first season three years ago in that dynamic is hard to criticize imo.

Yep same…excited to see what he does with this years front. I think we’re going to have to be more exotic than we had been.

We rushed four just about more than anyone in CFB and I don’t know if we are that good this year that we can do that

Was just watching Ross Fulton on a YT BH episode. He (casually) mentioned how in some of the sets against ND they used JT as a Jack even though they were in a 4-down. It made me think of if they could figure out a way to effectively disguise the Jack / 3-man front starting in a 4-down. If they could make that wrinkle work, I wonder what kind of things they could do with it. Opposing teams would have to scheme ways to see what the back-7 are trying to do while also having to deal with the OL having to sort out who they are blocking.

That could be tasty.

Wait, that can't be....he's an Oklahoma Sooner, for sure, by Frid...I mean, Monday, he wants to wait for the parade. But it's all done, signed, he's pulling staff members. Oh and he's going to take some players with him! His girlfriend lives in Oklahoma, didn't you hear that?! Are you listening....HIS GIRLFRIEND LIVES IN OKLAHOMA, IT'S A DONE DEAL.

But seriously, I hope he stays and is the highest paid coordinator in all of CFB. I hate how everyone on social media is an insider, or expert, and knows all the details, and feeds these lies to their subscribers (or followers) who are so desperate for the news that they gobble it whole and swear by it. In short, I just hate social media, but love Jim Knowles.

Yeah I'm amused by Oklahoma and PSU fans thinking they can money whip us. If he leaves it was never about the money. And the longer this goes the better it is for us. Cause eventually they need to move on or risk losing the better choices on their list.
