@Buckeye86 Your implication here is that my original response, pointing out the absurdity of reacting to internet rumors as if Alex G is the gospel, was flawed because I exaggerated for effect & was rhetorical. By crying 'strawman,' you’re conveniently ignoring the substance of my point. Since we are busting out fallacy flashcards this is a classic case of special pleading: demanding a specific standard for engagement which allows you to avoid addressing the larger issue. This really stems from your butthurt about the apologize posts, and maybe just not being able to handle being wrong about certain coaches and your brain breaking as we saw a different team after the UM debacle. If you read the threads fully before responding you would see it's all just a tiresome troll, and it's for kicks mostly, your ass pain is just a nice bonus. If you're going to act like Alex G’s shadowy rumors are sacrosanct while accusing others of fallacies, you might want to check your own brain stem for appeal to authority. Let me know if you're ready to have an actual discussion about the substance instead of hiding behind flashcards and 11w posts.

As for Penn State, if he looks at that shit show of a head coach and their trash offensive output then decides “yeah sign me up for that” then you can do nothing but laugh at that.

There’s a few things I know for sure… there’s a god, Fall is the best season, and Penn State can’t beat teams worth a damn.

I will say that if LJ is in the way of Knowles coming back then he should be let go today. You don’t sacrifice Jim Knowles for 5-10 years for maybe another year or two of LJ.

Looks like he’s going to PSU. Wouldn’t have surprised me if he tried for HC one last time or went to the NFL, but this is weird as fuck. Sounds like he’s was going to get a big bump staying at OSU, but will get more from PSU.

Has to be some internal frustration with Day/LJ. I knew he wouldn’t be here forever but it’s a damn shame they couldn’t keep him longer.

Yeah if he goes to PSU the dead to me we'll kick your ass next year. OU at least had the Fiancé.

It seems to me that you focusing so much on whether the rumor is true or not is negated by the bolded phrase.

Lol sounds about right. No one knows anything. Our insiders have been *shrug* everyone other than the one OU guy saying OU all the time that says PSU now. Either way if it goes past Monday got to believe it's better for us.

I fully expect him to go the Eagle out of nowhere at this point lol
