The 5-foot-11, 187-pound Davis is rated as just a 3-star prospect and the No. 344 player in the country by the 247Sports Rankings (he is a 4-star and No. 329 overall per the Composite), but adds the latest prestigious accolade to a previous honor of being named Virginia's Gatorade Player of the Year.
I think this kid could end up being a stud in this class. He's hardly talked about and quietly has won his states and conference's POY award in a highly talented state! Can be a shutdown CB that plays early and learns on the fly
Its crazy that hes a "sleeper" and hes arguably the best all around talent in VA(I'd give Levontae Taylor the edge)! I give Fuller all the praise out there, but Davis could be a kid in the near future that coaches rave about and makes noise, kind of like Denzel Ward quietly moved into the early starting lineup for 2016. Except I believe Davis is a more complete CB at this stageI have the same thought, very quietly might be the best in the secondary. I told my buddy yesterday he is the "sleeper" no one is really talking about. VA is an extremely talented state for football and he was the MAN.
I was thinking myself that he looks pretty swole now! I think he will hit campus ready to put in work and see that field ASAPBased on those 2 photos....if you told me he was a Linebaker.
I would say..."that is one jacked LB"
Dude looks like a powerhouse.
