DB Tyvis Powell (National Champion)

Exactly. I said early on that Powell and Marshall are two guys I thought might go undrafted and unfortunately that came to fruition. I think Jalin will catch on somewhere with special teams alone, hopefully Tyvis can as well.
Tyvis is absolutely maxed out. He started for 3 years, led his team to a NC and went out on a high note with his pals. He even killed it at the combine. There was no chance of going higher next year and his weaknesses would have been even more obvious without Vonn, Eli, Darron, Josh, Darron & Adolphus. He went out on a really high note and did so much in his career.

Marshall is still painfully green. Marshall started 1 year as the 5th weapon on offense. He decided to go pro against all advice rather than return and be the go to WR. Marshall went pro as a mediocre WR and a somewhat good return man that could never elude a punter or kicker.

He better make the roster...
Or what?

Graduated? Check.

Fully developed? Check.

Captain? Check.

Won a NC game? Check.

Defensive MVP of the NC game? Check.

Ran extremely well for scouts? Check.

Ripped out the hearts of hundreds of thousands of Wolverine fans? Check.

What is there left for him to accomplish? Come back for a 5th year without his pals and assure himself of not getting drafted?

Jalin made a dumb decision that no one understood. Tyvis made a decision that most understood.

The point was he better make a roster to get paid $$$. Unless you interpreted paid to mean selling insurance at state farm.

Again, or what?

He'll be a success at whatever he does and more importantly, he'll have a smile on his face while he does it, which is why there is no compelling answer to "or what." I tend to think he'll be a hit on television as he's so personable and hilarious (easily the most entertaining OSU player I've seen and it's not close), but he might have just as much fun bringing that hilarity to a regular job.

I have a hard time imagining him not finding a local radio/media gig somewhere. Dustin Fox comes to mind.
Seattle is an interesting place to cut his teeth. They're on record with wanting to run a lot of Nickel and Dime this year. They also need players with position versatility and ST allstars in the secondary in order to carry extra bodies in other position groups. And we all know how they feel about big athletic safeties.
That all plays right into Powell's wheelhouse. He has experience and athleticism to play Nickel/Star/Dime.
On the other hand, it sounds like they've got some versatile CBs they like on the roster too - he may be competing with them for a roster spot.
