Urban can coach/motivate but the dude is a psychopath with issues, especially if this is true.

edited to add some qualifiers since this isn’t confirmed. Definitely odd this is just now coming out from a scorned player. We’ll see.

Dude majored in psychology he understood what buttons to press to get you to do what he wanted.and yes he's a controlling psychopath. He knows how to motivate people. How to make people hate. How to get you to do what he wants you to even if you don't want to. And it's conjecture but I don't think he's very scrupulous on how he does it. If he can use it he doesn't care if it's proper or right he cares if it gets what he wants and what he wants more than anything is to win.

I’m just curious all this shit comes out now on Urban? He’s been gone 3 years. Are Marcus and others implying there are other coaches that are just as bad or worse than Urban? All this does not sit well with me.

I don't know that taking Marcus's words for gospel is something I'd do. I also don't think Urban was above playing mind games to get what he wanted and some of those things would be out of bounds in normal life. Urban always felt like Old school drill instructor. Get in your head and break you down and remould you as he envisions. I think all great coaches are like that. It's just a matter of how they go about it that differs

I honestly think he saw his career come to an end and the reality of it all is sinking in. None of this came out for years, not from him or anyone else. All his ramblings have centered around the work it takes getting to the NFL, playing through injuries, and getting paid as a player. Sounds like he’s salty about what it takes to get an NIL deal and saw others push through to get it. Thats life, young man. That’s reality. Someone is always willing to go harder, sacrifice, and perform if they truly want it. It’s a hard lesson to learn young, I’m sure we all have regrets.





Even Cardale, who had a weird relationship with Meyer stood up and said something.
